Wind & Wrist earns money through affiliate links.When you click a “check price” or “view on Amazon” button on this site and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. That commission is how we fund the research, the price checking, and the site itself. We’re disclosing it clearly and conspicuously, as the FTC requires, and we want you to understand it fully.
The Amazon Associates program
Wind & Wrist is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Most of the product links on this site go to Amazon and carry our Associates tag.
What affiliate links never change
- They don’t change the price you pay. The price is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.
- They don’t decide our recommendations.We rank watches on published specs, live prices and fit for the recipient — not on what pays us more. When a cheaper watch is the better gift, that’s our pick.
- They don’t stop us telling you what to skip.Every list names a pick to skip and why, even though a “skip” earns us nothing.
How links are handled
Outbound product links pass through a simple redirect on our own domain so we can keep destinations up to date, and they carry the standard rel=“sponsored nofollow”attributes that Google’s guidelines call for on monetized links. Prices shown next to a link come from a live lookup and carry the date they were checked; where a price can’t be verified, we show “check price” instead of a number.
No sponsored placements
We don’t accept payment from brands to be included or ranked higher, and we don’t accept free products in exchange for coverage. The only way a watch appears on this site is on its merits. If that ever changes, we’ll say so clearly, here and on the page in question.
